About Lori...
I believe that we all have a gift to share with the world and for years I would wonder what my gift was? I had met some of those rare people who were living their passion and I knew that was something I wanted. It was my dream to do what I loved each day, to be filled with joy, and to feel passion for life!
Although I had lifted weights and run sporadically for years, my journey to living my passion really began in 2007 when I committed to getting healthy. I was at the gym every morning, on my lunch hour, and running in the evenings with my dog. Then in February 2008 I sustained a knee injury due to over-training.
What I at first perceived to be an obstacle became a blessing in that it lead me to discover yoga. I fell in love with yoga in my very first class! I went to every studio in Edmonton trying different styles and experiencing different teachers. It was an enlightening journey but I knew from past experience that the best way to learn something is to teach it.

And so, I attended Baron Baptiste Power Yoga teacher training in Hawaii and it was life changing. I then earned my AFLCA (Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification of Association) for Personal Training and Group Exercise Training. At this time I was introduced to Kettlebells, and again, I fell in love! I completed the AGATSU Kettlebell Certification, then the RKC (Russian Kettlebell Challenge) Certification, and received my 200 Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training.
As a passionate student always looking to evolve and to grow, I took the Level 2 RKC Certification, the WKC (World Kettlebell Club) Certification and completed a 500 hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Guatemala. I am incredibly blessed and grateful to be living my dream and to have the opportunity to share it with others. I truly love what I do and feel honored to be surrounded by such amazing people every day, each student is a gift and an inspiration to me. I am passionate about helping others reach their full physical, mental, and spiritual potential. My mission is to inspire, motivate, and encourage people to awaken to the unlimited potential of their authentic self. |
